Blog # 14 - Game Review : Ryse, Son of Rome

Ryse, Son of Rome

Ryse was featured at E3 and because of its exceptional game-play.
It focuses mainly on combating enemies. Its combat system is similar to the batman games (for ex. Arkham Origins). It was interesting, the story takes place in Rome and the main character is out for revenge for what happen to his family. It goes back when the Roman empire ruled Europe under the emperor, Nero. You play as Marius Titus who is a Roman general. I do not want to spoil anything but something or someone is revealed at the end and basically caused all of this to happen .The campaign is approximately 5 to 6 hours. The game is fairly easy like there are 3 different types of difficulty. What kind of sucks was that you could never die in the game like you can you heal back up to full health when you switch to one of your abilities. I think they might need to nerf that move a little but overall the game was fun. The developers of this game used the full potential of the next gen console in this game. The graphics of this game was beautiful.
